Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), Palakkad, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BEML Limited, Palakkad Complex on 29-9-26, under the i-DISHA initiative, aimed at strengthening industry–academia collaboration and providing students with practical exposure to defence manufacturing and industrial technologies. The initiative facilitates familiarization and industry exposure visits for engineering students, covering areas such as manufacturing processes, design and development, R&D, Industry 4.0, quality systems, testing, hydraulics, powertrain systems and mobility solutions.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Lalit Kumar Biswal, Officer- HR, on behalf of BEML Limited, with Mr. Athul Padattil, Junior Executive- HR, representing BEML. Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, signed the MoU on behalf of Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology. Dr. Pradip C., HOD- EEE, and Dr. Vivek Gopi, IIIC Coordinator, represented ASET during the MoU signing ceremony.
