The Department of Science and Humanities conducted a seminar in collaboration with Ahalia ISTE Palakkad Chapter and IEDC on the topic “Concepts of Design Engineering” for all the first year students on 25 February 2019. The session was handled by Prof. G. Natarajan, Former Scientist, CSIR-CMERI. He mentioned about the new concepts when designing engineering devices. He stressed on the aspects of multipurpose quality devices and waste management. He also gave a brief idea about, how to answer the Design and Engineering questions as per the new KTU curriculum.
