The IEDC Student Branch ASET conducted PIRAVI, a two-day flagship event held on February 14–15, commencing at 9:00 AM on 14th February and concluding at 4:30 PM on 15th February. PIRAVI brought together an exciting mix of hands-on workshops across technical and medical domains, providing participants with practical exposure and interdisciplinary learning opportunities. The event also featured a dynamic startup expo, showcasing innovative ideas and entrepreneurial ventures, along with a high-energy hackathon that encouraged problem-solving,
creativity, and teamwork. In addition, a wide range of fun and engaging activities fostered interaction and enthusiasm among participants. The event was concluded with a vibrant cultural night, celebrating talent and creativity while strengthening community bonding. Overall, PIRAVI
focused on skill development, innovation, collaboration, and holistic learning, making it a memorable and impactful experience for all participants.
Event Objectives:
- To provide hands-on exposure and skill enhancement through interdisciplinary workshops in technical and medical domains.
- To encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and teamwork by engaging students in a startup expo and competitive hackathon.
- To promote student engagement and cultural integration through interactive activities and a cultural night, fostering collaboration and creativity.
Expected Outcomes:
● Participants will gain enhanced technical, medical, and interdisciplinary skills, along with improved problem-solving abilities through hands-on workshops, the hackathon, and experiential learning activities.
● Students will develop innovation, entrepreneurial mindset, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills through active involvement in the startup expo, collaborative challenges, and interactive sessions.
● The event will strengthen student engagement, cultural awareness, and institutional innovation culture, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and sustained participation in future
IEDC initiatives.

Workshop 1: ROBOTICS WORKSHOP
Speaker: ATHUL KRISHNA R
The Robotics Workshop, handled by Athul Krishna R on Day 2, focused on introducing participants to the core concepts of robotics. The session covered the basic components of a robot, including sensors, actuators, and controllers, along with their roles in building functional
robotic systems. Emphasis was placed on hands-on learning, where participants gained practical exposure through demonstrations and guided activities. The workshop helped students understand the working principles of robots and their real-time applications. It also enhanced participants’ technical knowledge, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills, providing a strong foundation in robotics.
Workshop 2: 3D WORKSHOP By experts from IPTIF,IIT PALAKKAD
The 3D Workshop, conducted by experts from IPTIF, IIT Palakkad on Day 1, introduced participants to the fundamentals of 3D design and modeling. The session focused on key concepts such as 3D visualization, basic modeling techniques, and design workflows. Participants received hands-on exposure to creating and understanding three-dimensional models, helping them translate ideas into digital designs. The workshop enhanced students’ spatial thinking, creativity, and technical skills, while providing insights into the practical applications of 3D technology in engineering, manufacturing, and related fields.
Workshop 3: HACKS WORKSHOP By offenso academy
The Hacks Workshop, conducted by Offenso Academy on Day 2, focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals of ethical hacking and cybersecurity awareness. The session covered basic concepts related to system vulnerabilities, cyber threats, and secure practices in a
controlled and educational manner. Emphasis was placed on understanding security principles and responsible usage of technology, rather than misuse. Through interactive explanations and demonstrations, the workshop enhanced participants’ analytical thinking, technical awareness, and interest in cybersecurity domains.
WORKSHOP 4 :CADD WORKSHOP By CAD center
The CADD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting) Workshop, conducted by CAD Centre, was organized as part of Piravi ’26 to provide participants with hands-on exposure to professional drafting and design practices. The session introduced students to the fundamentals of
computer-aided drafting, including basic drawing tools, commands, dimensioning techniques, and layout design. Participants were guided through practical exercises that helped them understand the creation, editing, and interpretation of technical drawings using CADD software.
The workshop emphasized precision, efficiency, and industry-oriented design standards commonly followed in engineering and technical fields. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on activities, participants gained practical insights into real-world applications of computer-aided drafting. By the end of the session, participants developed foundational design skills and an understanding of the importance of CADD tools in engineering, architecture, and industrial design Entrepreneurial Talk An Entrepreneurial Talk was delivered by R. Mohamad Asif on Day 2, Managing Partner of Skywell Water Tanks and Managing Director & CEO of Jezt Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. The session focused on entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation, where he shared real-world experiences on building startups, industry engagement, and leveraging technology for societal impact. The talk provided valuable insights into the startup ecosystem and motivated students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.
