The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Ahalia school of engineering and technology organized a seminar on Big Data as a part of association (neophytes) event on 5th March 2016. The chief guest was Mr. M. Surendra Babu, Technical Lead, HCL. The chief guest gave a brief introduction on Big Data and on Hadoop. The first session mainly emphasized the concept of Big Data.
