The Department of Civil Engineering had organized a seminar on Energy Reduction Strategies in India on 14 July 2017. The occasion was graced with the presence of Dr. B. G. Vishnuram, Principal, ASET, who gave a speech on the programme. The session was handled by Dr. E. K. Kunhanandhan Nambiar, former professor, NSS College of Engineering . The session was very informative and helped to identify the over utilization of energy in various construction activities. He was also able to point out how to convert the energy utilized construction practices to green processes in a sustainable manner.
