The NSS Unit of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology organized a State Level online awareness program “Workshop on Rainwater Harvesting” on 12.06.2021 (Saturday), 7.15 PM to 8.15 PM. The program started with the NSS Song by NSS volunteers. Mr. Roshan Sanu Y. (NSS Programme Officer, ASET) delivered the welcome speech. Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai (Principal-ASET and Director-Ahalia Group of Academic Institutions) delivered the presidential address. Felicitations were delivered by the APJAKTU NSS Cell State Coordinator Dr. Joy Varghese. Then Mr. Aswin U. (NSS Volunteer, ASET) introduced the trainer. After that the resource person Dr. Nisam Rahman (Chairman, Innovation and Research Society) led the session which included various methods for rainwater harvesting in our houses. After the session, Ms. Vijitha Khan (Associate NSS Programme Officer, ASET) delivered the Vote of Thanks. The program ended with the National Anthem. 1250 volunteers from various engineering colleges in Kerala participated through Google Meet and YouTube.
