Indian Railways and Ahalia Group of Educational Institutions jointly organized a cleanliness awareness rally and human chain at Olavakkode Railway Station. The rally, which began after taking oath from the railway divisional office, ended at Palakkad Junction railway station by
forming a human chain. The oath was administered by Divisional Railway Manager Arun Kumar Chaturvedi. He formally flagged off and inaugurated the rally. Mr. Jayakrishnan. S, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, presided over. The programme was organized with the
objective of spreading the message that cleanliness is everyone’s responsibility through youth participation. NSS volunteers from Ahalia School of Engineering & technology, students and teachers from Ahalia College of Commerce and Mathematics and Ahalia Nursing College
and Indian Railways staff participated. Rudhirasena Coordinators from ASET actively coordinated the program. The staffs from Railway division office also participated in the events
