Two Day hands-on Workshop – Laptop and mobile phone troubleshooting techniques

The two-day workshop on laptop and mobile phone troubleshooting aimed to equip participants with essential skills to diagnose and resolve common technical issues. Organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch and IETE Student Forum of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, along with New Technology Institutions in Coimbatore, the workshop took place from January 16 to 17, 2025 at Design and Analysis Lab. Students of Eighth and sixth semester participated in the workshop. The event was inaugurated by Dr. V. Balamurugan, Head of the Department, with enlightening sessions led by Dr. B. Krishna Kumar, CEO and Founder of New Technology Institutions. The workshop delved into mobile phone architecture, addressing typical problems such as app crashes and battery drainage, and included hands-on troubleshooting strategies. Best practices for maintenance and software updates were also discussed. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive, emphasizing the informative nature of the sessions and the value of practical exercises. Overall, the workshop successfully empowered attendees with the knowledge to tackle everyday tech challenges effectively. The workshop provided participants with valuable skills and knowledge to troubleshoot common issues with laptops and mobile phones. Certificates were issued at the end of the workshop.
