Department of Civil Engineering conducted a Value Added Course in Structural Detailing on 18th and 19th of December’24 which aims to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in the field of structural engineering. This course integrates theoretical learning with hands on training which helped the students to understand structural detailing processes. The theoretical sessions covered Fundamentals of structural detailing, Software training like AutoCAD, Awareness on Structural Code books. Hands on Training was also given in reinforcement detailing. Engaging in modeling exercises that simulate real-world scenarios, enhancing their practical skills. Also technical games were conducted in the afternoon session each day which created more interest among students. To motivate participants and acknowledge their hard work, winners of the competitions were awarded cash prizes. This initiative encourages healthy competition and reinforces the importance of excellence in structural detailing. At the end of the session Students received Certificate of completion from our Principal Dr. P.R.Suresh.
