The IEEE Student Branch (SB) in association with the IEEE Antenna and Propagation Society (APS) SB Chapter and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) SB Affinity Group OF Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad conducted a webinar titled “Data Science for Beginners” on 9th July 2020. The session was handled by Mr. Vijay Nair (CTO, Assyst International Pvt. Ltd. Kochi and Pan Apps Inc., Va, USA). In the session 48 people (12 IEEE members, 36 non-IEEE members) participated. The session covered fundamental topics such as what is meant by data science, its applications in various fields of science and technology, some of the software used in the field and its implementation. The session was coordinated by Ms. Ushmala B. (3rd year ECE) and Ms. Megha T. R. (3rd year ECE).
