The IEEE Student Branch, IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad organized a webinar titled “GATE Way To Excellent Career Opportunities” on 31 October 2020. The event was attended by 46 students and 4 staff members (16 IEEE members). The resource person was Mr. Saravanan A., Founder, GATE Forum, Coimbatore. The session was about the different fields the students can choose after their B.Tech. and about various competitive exams. The session explained in detail about different exams, how to apply for it, who is conducting the exam and how to prepare for it. Overall, the students appreciated the session since it was a great source of information for their future. This event was coordinated by Ms. Megha K. A. (4th year ECE) and Ms. Megha T. R. (4th year ECE).
