A webinar on “Intellectual Property Rights” was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering – ASET, Palakkad in association with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 19.11.2020 by Dr. Thiagarajan, Associate Professor, Christ College of Engineering and Technology, Puduchery. 35 students attended the program. The talk mainly emphasized on the need for the ideas to be patented. The importance of filing a patent in the student period was the main part of the discussion. The talk inspired the students to have an awareness on various facets of IPR. Ms. Saranya Nair (S7 EEE) and Mr. Sarath Sunil (S7 CE) were the overall coordinators of the event.
