The IEEE Student Branch in association with the IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group and the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) Student Branch Chapter, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad conducted a webinar titled “Neural Networks and Brain Stimulation” on 23 November 2020. The session was handled by Mr. Karunasagaran P. R., Project Manager, Indian Telephone Industry (ITI), Kanjikode, Palakkad. The meeting started at 4 p.m. In the session, 38 people (15 IEEE members, 23 non-IEEE members) participated. The session covered topics like what is a neural network, why AI is going to play a major role in future applications, image recognition, understanding brain signals, etc. The session was coordinated by Ms. Arya R. Krishna (2nd year ECE) and Ms. Anjana R. (2nd year ECE).
