On September 25, 2026, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology, in collaboration with IIC, IEDC, and ISTE, hosted a Workshop titled *”PLC Fundamentals and Practical Applications” in the Simulation Lab. Led by Er. Vijayakumar T S, former Executive Engineer at KSEB, the hands-on session covered core PLC concepts, ladder logic design, and practical troubleshooting using simulation tools. The event successfully bridged the gap between academic theory and industrial automation requirements while providing students with valuable career insights into the electrical and automation sectors
