 Additive Manufacturing Facility

“The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology has established a state-of-the-art Additive Manufacturing Facility to strengthen the prototyping and product development capabilities.

The facility is equipped with advanced 3D printing technologies, including:

  • Bambu Lab A1 (FDM) printer
  • Elegoo Mars 5 (MSLA) resin printer

These machines will play a key role in enhancing the department’s infrastructure, providing students and researchers with hands-on experience in mechanical designrapid prototyping, and innovation. The integration of both FDM and MSLA technologies enables the fabrication of functional components with high accuracy and diverse material options.

This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to modern engineering educationpractical learning, and research-driven innovation.”
