The “AI for Teachers” training session was successfully conducted on 18th March 2026 at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Palakkad, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

The session commenced at 10:30 AM with a warm welcome address by Ms. Sheeba, Computer Science Teacher of KV, who highlighted the importance of integrating emerging technologies into modern teaching practices.

Session Details

Session 1:

The first session was handled by Mr. Sunder V, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology.

He introduced the participants to ChatGPT and Prompt Engineering, focusing on how teachers can effectively use AI tools to enhance classroom engagement, content creation, and student interaction.

Session 2:

The second session was led by Mrs. Reshma P K, Assistant Professor, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

She demonstrated the use of advanced AI tools such as Gemini, Nano Banana, Perplexity, and explained practical approaches to AI-based lesson plan preparation, enabling teachers to streamline their academic planning and delivery.

Session 3:

The final session was again conducted by Mr. Sunder V, who introduced innovative tools like Gamma AI and Notebook LM, showcasing their applications in creating presentations, organizing information, and enhancing teaching efficiency

The session received highly positive feedback from the participants. Teachers expressed that the training significantly helped in updating their teaching skills and knowledge, particularly in adopting AI tools for educational purposes. Many participants also requested more such sessions in the future to further deepen their understanding.

The training program proved to be highly informative and impactful, equipping teachers with practical knowledge of AI tools that can transform traditional teaching methods. The initiative by Ahalia Group of Institutions was well appreciated and marked a meaningful step towards technology-enabled education.
