Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology set up ASET Literary Club to promote literary talents in students as well as to enhance their communication skills. The club was inaugurated by the renowned author and activist, Shri C. R. Neelakandan on 21 February 2022. International Mother Language Day Celebrations were also done during this event. The guest of honor emphasized critical thinking and how decisions should be made based on wisdom rather than mere information. The accumulation of information and its transition to knowledge and wisdom revolves around literature. He also said exposure to literature in any form or language transforms people to be rational thinkers and contributors to society. Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, ASET, presided over the event and Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor offered the felicitation address. Prof. Chippy Binoy, the staff coordinator of ASET Literary Club, welcomed the gathering, Mr. Rishikesh, S1, CE, introduced the chief guest to the participants. Ms. Vydoorya, S1, ME, offered a Vote of Thanks. Ms. Nithyasree, S3, ECE anchored the program and the event was coordinated by Ms. Bindu Valoor, Manager Academics Outreach.
