In association with Elappully Grama Panchayat, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology & Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital organised a free Eye Check Up for the students of schools in Elappully Panchayat. Two years of online education has triggered some health issues in children. This drive is dedicated to identify vision related ailments in students, so medical care can be offered at the earliest. The inauguration of the event was held in Sree Narayana Public School, Elappully on 20 June 2022 at 9:30 a.m. The vision of 1200 students and over 100 teachers of Sree Narayana Public School, Elappully will be checked. Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad, & Director, Ahalia Group Academic Institutions, India, inaugurated the program. Shri. Balan C., President, SNES, presided over the event, Smt. Rajakumari K., Education Standing Committee Chairman, Elappully Panchayat and Dr. Sudhodanan, State Secretary, OISCA, & Academic Director, SNPS offered felicitation. Shri. Pradeesh Sundaram, Assistant Manager, Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospital proposed the vote of thanks. Smt.
