ICASET 2026 Inaugurated at Ahalia Schoolof Engineering & Technology

The International Conference on Advancements in Science, Engineering & Technology (ICASET 2026) was formally inaugurated at Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology on Friday at Visvesvaraya Hall, marking the beginning of a significant academic gathering of researchers,
academicians, and industry professionals. The inaugural session commenced at 9:15 AM with a prayer, followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr. Rajeev N, Dean Academics, who extended a warm reception to the dignitaries and participants. Delivering the presidential address, Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, emphasized the importance of such conferences in promoting research culture, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration among scholars and professionals. The conference was officially inaugurated by Dr. Arvind Ajoy, Dean
ICSR, IIT Palakkad, who highlighted the growing need for collaborative research and technological advancements to address global challenges. He also encouraged young researchers to actively engage in innovative and impactful studies.
A felicitation address was delivered by Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Vice Principal, who appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee and acknowledged the participation of delegates from various institutions. The session concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr.
Murugananth G, Dean Research, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, speakers, and all contributors for making the event a success.
The conference will feature keynote sessions by eminent experts including Dr. Nisha Nair, Mr. Roji Philip, and Mr. Shamin Dudu, focusing on emerging trends in business administration, artificial intelligence, and automotive electronics. The inauguration marked a promising start to
ICASET 2026, setting the tone for insightful discussions and knowledge exchange in the days ahead.

Experts Highlight Innovation at ICASET 2026 Keynote Sessions

As part of the International Conference on Advancements in Science, Engineering & Technology (ICASET 2026), a series of keynote sessions were conducted online on April 25, featuring eminent academicians and industry experts who shared insights on emerging technological trends and innovation. The first keynote session was delivered by Dr. Nisha Nair, Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, on the topic “Driving Creativity for Innovation.” She emphasized the importance of creative thinking and interdisciplinary approaches in fostering innovation in modern research and business environments.
The second session was handled by Mr. Roji Philip, Senior Director (AI & Automation), Speridian Technologies, Mumbai, who spoke on “The Rise of AI Engineers: From Coders to System Thinkers.” His talk highlighted the evolving role of engineers in the era of artificial intelligence,
stressing the need for system-level thinking and adaptability. The third keynote session was presented by Mr. Shamin Dudu, Section Head and Technical Director at Bosch Global Software and Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. He addressed the topic “Trends in Automotive Electronics and Embedded System,” focusing on advancements in automotive technologies and embedded systems shaping the future of mobility.
Following the keynote sessions, the conference proceeded with technical paper presentations across multiple tracks including Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and
Electronics Engineering (EEE), and other interdisciplinary areas. The conference witnessed the presentation of around 100 research papers from national and international contributors, reflecting a diverse range of innovative ideas and research outcomes. The technical sessions continued
actively until April 26, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and academic discussion among participants.
The keynote sessions and subsequent presentations marked a significant highlight of ICASET 2026, reinforcing its role as a hub for research, collaboration, and technological advancement.

Track 1 – Civil Engineering:
Track 1 of ICASET 2026 focused on Civil Engineering (CE) and featured the presentation of 9 research papers. The session covered key areas such as soil stabilization, sustainable construction materials, structural analysis, transportation engineering, and environmental engineering. The
papers highlighted innovative approaches to address real-world challenges in infrastructure development and sustainability. The session provided a platform for researchers to discuss findings, exchange ideas, and receive valuable feedback from peers and experts. The session was chaired by Dr. Surya S S, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad. It provided a platform for meaningful technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and expert feedback among participants.

Track 2 – Computer Science Engineering:
Track 2 of ICASET 2026 focused on Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and included the presentation of 31 research papers. The session covered emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science, and software engineering, showcasing
recent advancements and innovative solutions in the computing domain. The session was chaired by Dr. Maya Mohan, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, and Dr. Geethu Mary George, HoD, Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Cyber Security), Jyothi Engineering College. The track facilitated active discussions and knowledge exchange among researchers and experts.

Track 3 – Electronics & Communication Engineering:
Track 3 of ICASET 2026 focused on Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) and featured the presentation of 15 research papers. The session covered areas such as communication systems, embedded systems, signal processing, and emerging electronics technologies,
highlighting recent developments and practical applications. The session was chaired by Dr. Sajitha A S, Associate Professor, Department of AI & DS, Jyothi Engineering College, Thrissur. The track enabled productive discussions and exchange of ideas among participants.

Track 4 – Electrical & Electronics Engineering:
Track 4 of ICASET 2026 focused on Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) and featured the presentation of 6 research papers. The session covered areas such as power systems, electrical machines, renewable energy, and control systems, highlighting recent advancements
and practical applications in the electrical domain. The session was chaired by Dr. Sujith S, Professor, Department of EEE, NSS College of
Engineering, Palakkad. The track facilitated effective technical discussions and knowledge sharing among participants.

Track 5 – Mechanical Engineering:
Track 5 of ICASET 2026 focused on Mechanical Engineering (ME) and featured the presentation of 12 national and international research papers. The session covered areas such as thermal engineering, manufacturing processes, design, and emerging mechanical technologies, highlighting innovative research and practical applications. The session was chaired by Dr. B. Santhosh, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical
Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. The track enabled effective technical discussions and exchange of ideas among participants.

Track 6 – Others:
Track 6 of ICASET 2026 included 6 research papers from Science, Humanities, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and other interdisciplinary areas. The session highlighted diverse research contributions and innovative ideas across multiple domains. The session was chaired by the Dean and IQAC Head, Department of Computer Technology, Sri Krishna Adithya College, Coimbatore, who also serves as the Hon. Secretary, CSI Coimbatore Chapter. The track encouraged interdisciplinary discussions and knowledge sharing among participants.
