ASET celebrated World Earth Day with the aim of creating awareness about environmental protection and encouraging sustainable practices among students, faculty, and staff. The programme focused on the shared responsibility of safeguarding natural resources and reinforcing the idea that small individual actions, when multiplied, create a significant positive impact on the planet.Dr. Rajeev N, Dean – Academics, delivered an address emphasising the urgent need to protect the Earth in the face of increasing pollution, resource depletion, climate change, and biodiversity loss. He underlined that environmental protection is not only the responsibility of governments and organisations, but also of every individual.
In his talk, Dr. Rajeev N explained that sustainable development begins with awareness and continues through consistent personal choices. He stressed that even simple lifestyle changes can collectively reduce environmental damage and build a healthier future for the next generations.
