The IEEE Student Branch of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad organized an “IEEE ORIENTATION SESSION” on 07 January 2022. This was attended by 25 students (10 IEEE members). The session was handled by Ms. Arya R. Krishna, Chair, IEEE Student Branch and Ms. Anjana R., Chair, IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology. The session was about IEEE including various benefits of IEEE Student Membership, IEEE at present, how to take student membership, various activities conducted worldwide etc. Overall, the students appreciated the session since it was a great source of information for the students. This event was coordinated by Sankulesh Narayanan M (3rd year ECE) and Ms. Nithyasree S. (2nd year ECE).
