Inauguration of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Association ILLUMINATORS

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Association “ILLUMINATORS”, of Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology was inaugurated on August 17, 2024. This initiative aims to foster a vibrant community of students and professionals interested in the field of electrical engineering. The association will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and professional development.

The primary objectives of the Electrical Association are:

To provide a forum for students to discuss and explore topics related to electrical engineering.

To organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures with industry experts.

To facilitate hands-on projects and internships.

To promote collaboration between students, faculty, and industry professionals.

To give the awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship

Illuminators – The association of EEE Department was inaugurated on 17-08-2024, by Shri. A V Rajappan, Managing Director, Navbharath Systems and Devices Pvt. LTD., Ellapually, Palakkad, and Chairman, IE(I), Palghat Local Centre.  In the inaugural address, the chief guest delivered an inspiring speech on the evolving landscape of electrical engineering and the role of such associations in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices. The chief guest also emphasized the importance of innovation and continuous learning in the field. In addition he enlightened the significance of professional chapter memberships and encouraged students to become a part of Institution of Engineers, India. He also emphasized the students to be as successful entrepreneurs in the future. Dr. G. Murugananth, Professor & Head of the EEE Department, presided the function. Dr. C. Pradip, Professor, EEE Department welcomed the gathering, Mr. A. Manicakvasagam, AP, EEE, the association faculty coordinator introduced the office bearers, and Mr. Vipindas K, AP, EEE proposed the vote of thanks. The inauguration of the Electrical Association ‘ILLUMINATORS’ marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the students of Ahalia School of Engineering and technology. Faculty members, staff and students of EEE department organized and attended the inauguration function. With the support of the faculty and industry, the association is poised to become a cornerstone of professional development and innovation in electrical engineering.
