A one day workshop on soldering practice was organised by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology on 17 August 2024 .This was attended by 42 students of 2nd & 3rd year EEE. The workshop inaugurated by Shri A V Rajappan, Managing Director, Navbharath Systems and Devices (P) Ltd., Ellapully, Palakkad & Chairman, IE(I), Palghat Local Centre. The resource person was Mr. Dinesh K, Lab Instructor, EEE Dept., ASET. The program dealt with different types of DC soldering, manual desoldering with simple contact and line contact PCB etc. It was a great source of information and experience. The event was convened by Dr. G. Murugananth, Prof. & Head, EEE Dept., and coordinated by Mr. A. Manicakavasagam, AP, EEE and Mr Vipindas. K., AP, EEE.
