Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology celebrated International Day of Happiness on 20 March 2022 in association with UBA, NSS, ASET Literary Club and Ahalia Forum. The event was presided by Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, ASET. 10 esteemed discussion leaders expressed their views on what happiness meant to them. The discussion leaders are:

The participants also expressed their views on how they distinguish between happiness and pleasure and what happiness really mean to them. The program was well received by the participants. Rather than a monologue, this event turned out to be an interactive discussion. Vote of Thanks was proposed by Prof. Roshan Sanu (Convenor, Youth Against Alcohol & Drugs). Ms. Bindu Valoor, Manager Academics Outreach offered the welcome address and also coordinated this event.
