Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology celebrated World Poetry Day on 21 March 2022 in association with UBA, NSS, ASET Literary Club, and Ahalia Forum. This program was presided by Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, ASET. Shri. Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma inaugurated the event by giving a poetic speech. 10 notable poets recited their poems and made the occasion memorable. The poem written by Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai was recited by Ms. Megha, S8, ECE, ASET. Dr. R. Ravindran Nair’s poem was recited by Prof. K. R. Sethulakshmi. Following poets recited their own poems: Dr. Subhashini Mahadevan, Shri. Mohan Chettoor, Smt. Suguna Santhosh, Shri. Murali S. Kumar, Smt. Sheeja Kannan, Dr. Sreenathan S., Shri. Kallara Ajayan, Dr. Abdul Shukkur. The welcome address was offered by Shri. Lal S., Secretary, ASET NDLI Club and vote of thanks by Prof. Preeja V., Coordinator, ASET UBA.
