The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in association with Ahalia Palakkad ISTE Chapter organized an online workshop on the topic “How to write a Technical Research Paper” for faculty members and students of various institutions across the country. The programme was conducted through the Google Meet platform on 22-04-2020 at 06.00 pm. Ms. Saranya, S6 EEE welcomed the gathering. Mr. A. Manickavasagam, Asst. Professor, EEE Department introduced the resource person Dr. Murugananth Gopal Raj, Professor and Head, EEE Department to the participants and handed over the session to the resource person. The definition of research, its types, importance and validation of a research were covered in the session. The structure of a technical article, the parts and how to write them were also discussed. Around 129 participants from various corners of the country attended the sessions. Participants submitted their feedback online. Few participants expressed their views on the workshop and also suggested few scopes for improvements. Ms. Bahdra Mahesh, S6 EEE proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was technically assisted by Mr. Ajesh, S6 EEE. The team comprising of Mr. A. Manickavasagam, Assistant Professor, EEE Department, Ms. Saranya, Ms. Bahdra Mahesh and Mr. Ajesh, students of S6 EEE, coordinated the programme. Previously, an internal workshop on the same topic was conducted for EEE students on 19th April 2020.
