On 18th March 2017, ASET held its annual Project Competition for final year students. This was organized by the Centre for Research and Industrial Collaboration (CRIC) in association with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC). 49 teams consisting of 234 students from all departments participated in the competition. The projects were open for viewing to all members of the public, and many students and staff members visited the exhibition with great enthusiasm.
The projects were judged by a panel of experts, and the best project from each department was awarded with a cash prize and certificates. These were distributed during the Annual Day celebrations. The goal of such competitions is to encourage the students and give them an opportunity to present and promote their innovative ideas to members of the public.
