IIC regional meet was conducted on 06-08-2022 at KMEA Engineering college, Aluva. Delegates from IIC-MoE graced the event with their thought provoking sessions. IIC Poster Gallery Space for Participating IIC institutions were set up along with the Innovation Stalls from the host institute and other IIC institutions from the city and nearby region/state. An Impact Session was engaged by Dr. Dipan Sahu (Asst. Innovation Director, MoE’s Innovation Cell) and he discussed on IIC Model, Participatory Approach, Achievement and Performance Maximisation through Quality Participation of HEIs. He also discussed on YUKTI-National Innovation Repository (NIR) and its need for registering into the scheme. Later representatives of different track were directed to attend the sessions on
Track 1: Knowledge sharing session on Creation and Sustaining an I&E Ecosystem in HEI: Presentation by top performing IIC Institutions and Innovation Ambassadors and Innovators/Start-ups.
Track 2: Knowledge sharing session on Visualising and Developing Action Plan for an I&E Ecosystem in HEI: Presentation by HEIs those have Successfully Adopted and benefitted from NISP and Developed I&E policy.
Track 3: Knowledge sharing session on Benchmarking, Measuring I&E Ecosystem in HEI and Impact Creation: Presentation by top ranked HEIs in ARIIA 2021 and benefits of participation in ranking.
Track 4: Knowledge sharing session on IP and Technology Transfer: Presentation by experts on IP generation and Technology Transfer. Finally the session ended with Recognizing Best Posters from IIC Institutions and Facilitating Best innovation stalls. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Abhishek Ranjan (Innovation Officer-cum-IIC Zonal Coordinator (SWRO & CRO).
