The IEEE Student Branch Chapter of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Palakkad organized a session on Career Guidance and Opportunities For Higher Studies at Ahalia school of Engineering and technology on 24 January 2020. This was attended by 37 students and one staff member (16 IEEE members). The resource persons was Mr. Saravanan A., Founder, GATE Forum, Coimbatore. The session was about the different fields the students can choose after their B.Tech. and about various competitive exams. The session explained in detail about different exams, how to apply for it, who is conducting the exam, how to prepare for it, through different presentations. It was a very interactive session. Overall the students appreciated the session since it was a great source of information for their future.
