The Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering and the IEEE Student Branch Chapter of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Palakkad organized a two-hour session “MATLAB for Beginners” at Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology on 24 February 2020. This was attended by 36 students of first year ECE, EEE and second year ECE. The resource person was Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Associate Professor, Dept. of ECE, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology. The session introduced MATLAB and some of its functionalities to the students. Several examples including basic algebra, complex numbers, basic built-in math functions, matrices, using variables were discussed. A brief introduction to the scripting environment was also provided. Overall, it was a useful session for the students.
