The Department of Computer Science and Engineering Association successfully hosted Technocratz Association Day 2025 on March 13, 2025, bringing together students from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department for a day of innovation, problem-solving, and competition. The event featured three major competitions, fostering technical excellence, analytical thinking, and teamwork.
CODEATHON, the flagship hackathon, challenged participants in coding, problem-solving, and teamwork. Teams worked under tight constraints to develop innovative solutions, demonstrating creativity and technical proficiency. The competition saw 30 teams (90 participants in total) competing intensively.
The Digital Treasure Hunt engaged over 100 students in a fast-paced challenge requiring logic, speed, and analytical thinking. Teams of four navigated cryptic digital puzzles, testing both individual intellect and collaborative strategy.
The TEQBALL Tournament added a dynamic sporting element, blending agility, coordination, and precision. With 14 teams (two players per team), the competition provided a refreshing contrast to the day’s technical challenges.
The event culminated in an award ceremony, where winners were recognized for their outstanding performances. Dr. P R Suresh, Principal, Dr. S Gunasekaran, Head of the CSE Department, and Dr. Reshmi B, Association Coordinator, presented the prizes, commending students for their dedication and excellence.
