CSE Department Association TECHNOCRATZ Inaugurated at Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET) inaugurated its departmental association, TECHNOCRATZ, at Visvesvaraya Hall on September 22, 2026.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Reshmi B, Associate Professor, CSE. The association was formally inaugurated by Dr. Vivek Chaturvedi, Dean ICSR & Professor, IIT Palakkad, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, ASET, delivered the presidential address, while Dr. Rajeev N, Dean of Academics, and Dr. S. Gunasekaran, Head of the Department of CSE, delivered the felicitation addresses.
The inaugural ceremony also featured the introduction of the association office bearers and club leads, followed by the presentation of the annual plan of the association by D. Haritha, President, TECHNOCRATZ Association.
As part of the inauguration, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised an expert talk titled “Beyond Tomorrow: Exploring Intelligent & Emerging Technologies”, delivered by Mr. Lomin Joy, Senior Project Engineer, IIT Palakkad. The session provided students with valuable insights into emerging technological trends and their applications.
The programme offered students an opportunity to gain exposure to intelligent and emerging technologies, enhance their technical knowledge, and develop an interest in innovation and technology-driven learning. The inauguration marked the commencement of TECHNEXA-2026, a series of academic, technical, and innovative activities organised under the TECHNOCRATZ Association.
