The IEEE Student Branch, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Soceity (APS) Student Branch Chapter, IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE) SB Affinity Group of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology Palakkad in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized awebinar on Cybersecurity on 16 December 2020 at 4 p.m. The session was handled by Mr. Karunasagaran P. R., Project Manager, Indian Telephone Industry (ITI), Kanjikode. In the session 67 people (15 IEEE members, 52 non-IEEE members) participated. The session included topics like what is cybersecurity, what is its importance. and hacking. He also talked about white hat hackers, black hat hackers, credit card frauds and some of the work being done at ITI in this area. The talk was followed by a question and answer session. The host for the event was Ms. Krishnendu Satish V. V. of 2nd year CSE. The event was coordinated by Ms. Arya R Krishna (2nd year ECE) and Ms. Anjana R. (2nd year ECE).
