The IEEE Student Branch, IEEE APS Student Branch Chapter and IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad organized a webinar titled “Deep Learning: Image Recognition using TensorFlow and Keras” on 22 July 2020. The session was handled by Mr. Vijay Nair, CTO, Assyst International Pvt. Ltd. Kochi and Pan Apps Inc., Va, U.S.A. In the session 56 people (17 IEEE members, 39 non-IEEE members) participated. The session started with an introduction to the basics of deep learning. The session also included details on neural networks, convolution neural networks (CNN) and image recognition. The session concluded with the installation and a demonstration of TensorFlow and Keras. The session was highly appreciated by the participants. The session was coordinated by Ms. Megha T. R. (3rd year ECE) and Ms. Ushmala B. (3rd year ECE).
