The IEEE Student Branch, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) Student Branch Chapter, IEEE WIE Affinity Group in association with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad organized a webinar titled “Scope of Electronics and Communication Engineering” on 28 January 2021 . This was attended by 48 students and 5 staff members (9 IEEE members). The resource person was Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Vice Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology. The session was about the future scope of Electronics and Communication. The session explained in detail about the industries/areas where ECE can be applied, common research areas in ECE, career opportunities and skills needed for an ECE graduate, connection between the current KTU syllabus and industries. Overall, the students appreciated the session since it was a great source of information for their future. This event was coordinated by Mr. Sanjay S. (3rd year ECE) and Ms. Kavya Mukundan (3rd year ECE).
