The IEDC of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology conducted a workshop on ‘Design Thinking and Innovation ‘ on 30 November 2022 from 10 am to 4.15 pm. The resource persons for the workshop were Mr. Arjun C. P. and Mr. Sabarinath K. They are founders and CEO of the start-up OutoftheBox. A total of 153 participants were present for the workshop and out of which 18 were from other colleges. The groups were given tasks which made them to use their creativity and innovation to come up with unique solutions for the task. The participants discussed about various prevailing problems and they came up with alternative solutions. At the end of the session the participants were given an opportunity to provide feedback for the workshop. The feedback from the participants were generally positive and they gave encouragement for conducting further worshops by IEDC. Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai (Principal ASET) gave a token of appreciation to the resource persons.
