15 August 2022 is a day of immense pride and joy for all Indians alike. This year, it marked the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. On this day, we Indians celebrate our heroes and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation and brought us freedom, peace, and joy. Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology celebrated Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm. The day started off with the hoisting of the national flag by Dr. P.R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, followed by the National Anthem. After this, he gave an enriching and patriotic speech. Mr. Bibin B, Assistant Professor, Physical Education, coordinated the event. The Guests of Honour for the day were war veterans Col. K. Mohandas, Col. Sankaranarayanan, and Commander Chokkath Gopinathan.
