Mental Health Day was observed at Ahalia Campus under the auspices of Ahalia Counseling Group. Hundreds of students and teachers from various Ahalia colleges participated. There was a display of mime and street play by the students and a procession. The theme of the day was “Mental health is a human right”.Ahalia Counseling Department Head Vini Bose presided over and Ahalia Group Educational Institutions Director Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai inaugurated the event. Medical Director of Ahalia Hospitals, Dr. Suresh Babu delivered the keynote address. Ahalia School of Commerce and Mathematics Principal Dr. Jagadish S. N., NSS Program Officer, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology Prof. Roshan Sanu and Ahalia Group Academics Outreach Manager Bindu Valoor conveyed their greetings. Ahalia Ayurveda Medical College Counseling Psychologist Dr. Sumina conducted a mental health awareness class at Pampot. Akhinu Suvid, Satish and Radhika Manoj, Counseling Psychologists of Ahalia Group participated and spoke. Prizes were awarded to prize winners in various competitions.
