Onam is the biggest and the most important festival of the state of Kerala. It is a harvest festival and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm all over the state by people of all communities. The festival is celebrated to welcome King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam. ASET has conducted Onam celebration in a splendid manner.The programme was organized by the students of ASET and the event was celebrated by all the students, the teaching and non-teaching staffs of the college.The celebrations started with setting up an attractive floral decoration (pookkalam) .This was followed by various competitions like vadamvali, lemon spoon and so on.
