Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan of the Government of India, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology has adopted Elappully Village 2. A meeting was organised on 10 May 2022, with the representatives of Elappully Panchayat, NGOs like OISCA and Water Aid India, to discuss the Village development activities. An extensive plan of action has been devised. The areas of association identified are water management, hi-tech agriculture, education, green initiatives, health awareness, etc.
