The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a guest lecture on Quality Function Deployment (QFD) for the Mechanical engineering students of 7th and 5th semester on 14 November 2018 at Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology. The speaker for the lecture was Dr. Pramod V. R., who is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad. In his lecture Dr. Pramod V. R. discussed the history of the QFD, processes of QFD and benefits of QFD. He also explained the types of tools that are used in QFD with example of successful QFD implementation.
