NSS Unit of ASET organised an orientation program for 2022-2026 Batch NSS Volunteers on 18/11/2023 from 9:30 am to 4 pm at Visvesaraya Hall, ASET. The Program started with general orientation of NSS activities by ASET NSS Programme Officer Mr. Roshan Sanu Y.It was followed by an interactive session on NSS Flagship Programme – “Natural Resources Protection Force”, which was led by Regional NRPF trainer Ms. Alfiya K, NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad. The next session was handled by Ms. Bindu Valoor, Academics Outreach Manager, in which the comprehensive survey in the adopted village was briefed. ASET Principal Dr. P.R Sreemahadevan Pillai addressed the volunteers and motivated the volunteers to become altruistic social engineers by participating in NSS activities. The entire program was actively coordinated by senior NSS Volunteers of 2021-2025 Batch, led by Rishikesh, NSS Volunteer Secretary, ASET.
The program ended with the National Anthem.
