The IEEE Student Branch and the IEEE APS Student Branch Chapter of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad organized an online presentation competition TECH TALK on the topic ‘Trending Technology’ in the month of April 2020. The competition saw participation from engineering and arts and science undergraduate institutions all over Kerala. Some of the topics that were presented included blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), augmented reality, 5G and Internet of Things (IoT). The first position was secured by Ms. Arundhathi Krishna from Sree Chithra Thirunal College of Engineering and the second position was won by Mr. Navennth S. Nair from Govt. Model Engineering College. They were awarded cash prizes and certificates. All participants were given participation certificates. The event was coordinated by Ms. Ushmala B. (S6 ECE, IEEE SB Social Media Coordinator) and Mr. Sankulesh Narayanan M. (S2 ECE, IEEE SB Member).
