Webinar on ‘An Insight Into Minor Degree for KTU Students’

The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with IEEE Student Branch, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) SBC and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) SB AG, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad organized awebinar on “An Insight into Minor Degree for KTU Students” on 27 February 2021 at 5 p.m. The webinar was handled by Mr. Dhanesh S., Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology. A total of 51 participants (13 IEEE members) attended the programme. The session covered topics including the details of minor degree and its importance. The speaker discussed how to choose minor degree and the required credentials for achieving it. The basket system for different branches followed by KTU were also explained.  After the session there was a question-and-answer session and students cleared their doubts. Meeting ended at 6 pm. Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology and Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Vice Principal , Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology were also present for the function. The event was coordinated by Ms. Kavya Mukundan (3rd year ECE) and Mr. Sanjay S. (3rd year ECE).
