The Department of Computer science and Engineering conducted an online technical event on “Python Flask – UI for Python”. The resource person was Ms. Aiswrya R., Programmer Analyst in CTS. She is also a 2016-20 batch CSE Alumni. The function started at 5.00 P.M with the welcome address of Dr. S. Gunasekaran, HOD/CSE. Students from fourth, third and second year of CSE attended the program. The resource person gave an introductory idea about Python Flask. Normally students are using text editors and command line to execute a Python program. But Python flask is a User interface that provide tools, libraries and technologies that allow a programmer to build a web application. The programmer can design and deploy web application using HTML, CSS for front end design and Python as the programming logic. The resource person explained all these ideas to students in a clear manner. The resource person demonstrated the design and deployment of sample web application in front of students. Since Python is the one of the most trending language in industry, we hope that this session would be a useful one for the students. Mr. Thanveer Ansik Aliakbar (Association Chairman) gave the vote of thanks. The function came to an end at 6.00 P.M.
